365.49: The strategy is not working

The New York Times‘s new strategy is just to sell the crap out of Barack Obama editions. Unfortunately, this inauguration issue has been on the rack for ages. Didn’t seem like excitement over this issue was as fevered as the November 5, 2008, one that declared he won the election.

365.43: Deflation

Took this on the way back from bowling. $1.25 is pretty damn cheap for a slice. Seems like slice prices might be going down. Of course, if that’s because we’re experiencing deflation, maybe that’s not so cool.

365.42: Bundled up

Take a good look. You won’t see this sight in a few years.

365.33: Midnight Snack

My almost-midnight snack run was motivated more by my need to grab a photo for Project 365 than by hunger—although hunger did play a part. I didn’t snack on a sandwich—just got some milk for cereal.

Construction Site Two Doors Down, originally uploaded by Adam "Slice" Kuban. Not my best “365 Photos” work, but at least I was able to get a shot off today. I would have chosen the William Kristol Last Column shot as my “365 Photos” selection (it’s a stronger photo), but I don’t want to honor that [...]

365.24: Abandoned Building

Abandoned Building, originally uploaded by Adam "Slice" Kuban I keep saying I should squat this building. It’s a few doors up from me and has been abandoned since I moved in 5 or so years ago.

I Can’t Believe It’s Not Gutter report

Last night I fell down in more ways than one in our weekly bowling league night. I started bowling in season two of the league at The Gutter. It’s a hipster bowling alley and bar in Greenpoint. The folks who run it found an old warehouse space and a dingy street and did an amazing [...]
