365.81: Bridge on the Gowanus Canal
by Adam Kuban
Taken while returning home from a pizza-scouting mission in Carroll Gardens. I love the Gowanus Canal and the area around it.
Like many people of my age and kind, I’m fascinated with decay and desolate industrial areas. I’m also fascinated by water and can sit and look at bodies of water for—if not hours—a long time.
I would love to live alongside the Gowanus Canal if it weren’t so polluted and didn’t have the potential to smell so bad.
The red on the pilings is from the glow of a warning light.
