Slice losing mindshare?

This kinda makes me sad. Brownstoner says that “Serious Eats checked in on the place …” when in fact it was Slice that did the checkin’ in. I know that Slice is now a part of Serious Eats, but it still sort of hurts seeing your baby get sat on by a big ol’ elephant. [...]

365.47: ‘Clocks for Any Room’

‘Clocks for Any Room’, originally uploaded by Adam "Slice" Kuban. You know, I have very specific clock needs and have found that most stores have clocks for kitchens and living rooms but not for bathrooms or offices. Or vice versa. It’s refreshing to find a store that caters to all my room-specific time-telling needs.

365.46: Stromboli Pizza

While we were out and about today, I figured I’d get a shot of Stromboli Pizza, since I don’t recall off-hand having one. This turned out to be the best photo of the day, mostly because the girl on the phone here has kind of a cool style and a neat pose. I like the [...]

365.45: Montauk road trip

We went to Montauk on Saturday for a Valentine’s Day road trip. This defunct radar installation is at the center of some pretty out-there conspiracy theories. I’m glad I read about them after I got home, otherwise I probably wouldn’t have gotten so close to this building.

365.44: Fourthmeal, maybe?

“Serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and pizza.” Because pizza is not breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

365.43: Deflation

Took this on the way back from bowling. $1.25 is pretty damn cheap for a slice. Seems like slice prices might be going down. Of course, if that’s because we’re experiencing deflation, maybe that’s not so cool.

365.42: Bundled up

Take a good look. You won’t see this sight in a few years.

365.41: On the Street

I jammed the camera up in the crook of a tree and set the self-timer.

Leave, follow, or get out of the way

And I’ll quote from a great essay on Twitter that I just read today [my emphasis]: “But Rands, I need to follow this person, but they won’t shut up.” There’s a legitimate complaint here. I’m certain there’s a sensible feature request based on this complaint, like “Please don’t show me tweets contain RT or @” [...]

365.40: Subway

I lamed it today for my "365 Photos" photo. I guess my spin on this would be that it’s representative of my day—transferring at DeKalb Avenue Station on my way home.
