365.14: Volkswagen Beetle

My first car was a 1974 Volkswagen Super Beetle convertible. Mine was white. This one is orange. My dad and I fixed it up. It was a fun car but fairly unreliable, as these older cars tend to be. It needed all sorts of minor repairs, many of which I could do but many of which would cost $100 or $200 at the local VW specialist. After a couple years, I sold it at a profit (well, if you don’t count time invested) and bought a 1986 Honda Civic Si hatchback, a car I still have fond memories of.
