- Seinfeld to shill for Microsoft
Says the "New York Post": "After being mocked mercilessly in Apple's ads, Microsoft is eager to get the last laugh by hiring iconic funnyman Jerry Seinfeld to star in its upcoming ad blitz." The story asks whether Seinfeld will resonate with younger viewers, who know him only from reruns and says he's not exactly cutting-edge, having hawked AmEx, H-P, and "Bee Movie" I would also point out that he was a Mac user on "Seinfeld," and at one point even "owned" the Twentieth Anniversary Macintosh.
